My daughter's third grade class trip was held at America's first zoo, the Philadelphia Zoological Society. To make sure that I don't miss any camera action, I always volunteer to chaperone her trips. I was lucky enough to get some really good shots of the animals that I was able to use as accents on my layout.

Supplies
 - Black cardstock (DMD Industries)
- Tangerine cardstock (Scrap Papers)
- Patterned paper (NRN Designs)
- Title (Papyrus, Microsoft Word)
- Background photo - title & journaling (Microsoft Photo Draw)
- Journaling template (Journaling Genie)
- Decorative scissors (Deckle, Fiskars)
- Chalk (Craf-T)
- Black pen (Zig Millenium)

Instructions
- Cut patterned paper into two wide strips with deckle scissors and mount on black cardstock.
- Mount title and jounaling to tangerine cardstock (trim with deckle scissors) and chalk edges with a lighter shade to give a glowing effect.
- Mount title to top of page, centered over patterned paper strip.
- Mount photo and journaling together on black cardstock and mount to patterned paper beneath title.
- Trim one photo into an oval shape, mount on black cardstock, and mount to patterned paper.
- Trim four photos into circle shapes, mount on tangerine cardstock, and mount (slightly overlapping) half way around oval shaped photo.
- Trim other journaling block with deckle scissors and mount to black cardstock.
- Trim animal photos into small squares, rectangles, and silhouettes and mount as accents.
