Instructions
I chose three colors, maroon-brown, a soft metallic gold, and navy blue. I loosely wove corners with 8 strips of navy and put them behind punch art roses in opposite bottom corners of a 2-page layout.
The punch art roses were created with interlocking apple punches. Spirals were added to the centers after shading and the ferns and snowflake Baby's Breath were arranged around the roses to mimic the roses on the wedding cake.
I printed a photo of Sturgeon Point Lighthouse on a piece of vellum to show the real lighthouse on which the wedding cake was based. To make sure the photo was de-emphasized, I reversed the print and turned the paper over showing the lighthouse softly through the vellum.
Then I did the same with a photo of my daughter in her gold convertible which mimicked the Precious Moments figurine.
