Instructions
I stamped the globe and the trees inside the globe with my versamark and heat embossed with sterling silver embossing powder onto glossy white cardstock. I used a lot of Stampin' Up! products for this card. Once the globe and trees were done, I did the polished stone technique for the background with my Night of Navy reinker, denatured alcohol and a cotton ball, I didn't want the background to be too heavy so I dabbed lightly. I colored in the base of the globe and the trees with my blender pens and just accented the inside of the globe with a light blue for shadowing. I used the snowflakes stamp with my encore silver pad to add to the background, punched 2 holes in the top and added the silver ribbon. I then stamped the Joy is in the Air stamp in Night of Navy onto the glossy white and blended the blue to create solid writing. I then matted it on Night of Navy cardstock and mounted to the card. Then I added Friskars silver corners to the image and mounted it on a cut Night of Navy card.
