Fold brown cardstock in half so that you have a finished card size of 4 ½”x 5 ½”, creasing fold well with bone folder. Stamp Antique Map background stamp onto folded card, using the yellow Ochre Fluid Chalk ink pad. Set card aside to dry.
Sand all four playing cards lightly. You want to remove most of the coating so that the inks will adhere to the card. Some playing cards have more coating than others, so take care not to sand too much. Wipe dust off of sanded cards.- Cut an opening in one of the jumbo cards approximately 1 ¾”x 2 7/16” using the craft knife.
Sponge Yellow Ochre Fluid Chalk ink onto all 4 prepared playing cards using the yellow sponge. Heat set cards with heat gun. Sponge Brown Memories ink over all 4 cards. Heat set ink. Stamp Uncle Enos image using Brown Memories ink onto one inked mini playing card. Heat set image. Set aside. Stamp the Antique Map background stamp using the Brown Memories ink onto the Jumbo playing card with the cutout. Heat set ink. Set aside. Stamp the Senility Prayer image using the Memories Black ink pad onto the remaining Jumbo playing card. Heat set ink. Tear edges of this card down either side of the saying. Apply Memories Brown ink to the torn edges with the sponge. Heat set ink. Fold and cut the remaining mini card into fourths. Tear the edges diagonally so that you have four corners with torn inside edges. Apply Memories Brown ink to the torn edges with the sponge. Heat set ink.- Set aside.
Punch holes in the Jumbo cutout card and the mini card with the Uncle Enos image .Line The holes up so that the two cards can be attached with the wire and/or jump rings. Attach the two cards with the wire or jump rings. I made four rings out of the wire.
Using the glue stick, glue the Uncle Enos/Cut out card onto the front center of the Brown prepared card. Glue the torn corners of the mini card onto the front corners. Glue the Senility Prayer inside the card. Using the Yellow Ochre Fluid Chalk in pad, Stamp the small compass image inside of card.
Using gold wire, make a pair of eyeglasses by wrapping wire around the end of a paintbrush. With the Mod Podge, glue the wire glasses inside the card underneath the saying.
