Instructions

Trace card portfolio template on 8 ½" x 11" red cardstock. Cut edges with scissors and ribbon hole openings with craft knife. Score along fold lines with the back of a butter knife or bone folder. Gently fold then flatten to embellish. On 1 ½" white cardstock squares stamp the Hawaiian Quilt Pattern stamp in Marvy #65 red dye pad. Glue white squares to 3 ½" red cardstock square then to white 4 ¼" x 5 ½" cardstock. Draw stitch lines with white gellyroll pen. On the computer type the words "Aloha" and "Mahalo" (thank you in Hawaiian) in red font, print. Cut words out and mount of red cardstock. Dimensions of white and red cardstock will be different for each word. Draw stitch lines around word then glue onto card underneath quilt patterns. Glue quilt card to the front of the portfolio. Cut desired length of ribbon (13" works well) and glue inside side slits. Following the template directions fold and glue portfolio together. To make gift cards follow the same instructions used to make the front of the portfolio only gluing quilt patterns to white 4 ¼" x 5 ½" folded white cardstock.
