Instructions
For the suede used to cover this album, I used old suede skirts from a Thrift Store. I cut two pieces of purple to cover the front and back covers of the album, overlapping to the inside on the top, bottom and outside an inch. Measure a strip of light brown suede to fit across the front of the album. Use the crackle stamp and Black Memories Ink to stamp on both the purple suede and brown suede. Lay the light brown suede on top of the purple cover piece. Punch the holes for the cording and sew the beads through the brown suede and the purple suede.
Using rubber cement, glue the front cover on, pulling the edges to the inside and gluing them. Do the same for the back cover. Cut 2 pieces of black cardstock to cover up the suede edges on the inside front and back covers. Glue on with rubber cement. Stamp the frame on a piece of dark brown suede. Cut out leaving a 1/4 inch edge around the entire frame. Using Terrifically Tacky Tape, turn this to the back of the frame. Cut the inside of the frame out. Using Terrifically Tacky Tape, adhere frame to front of scrapbook and slip picture into the frame.
