  • Construction Des Letres Stamp (2517 I)- JudiKins
  • Calligraphic Strokes Background (2148J) - JudiKins
  • Aquacolor Watercolor Crayons (Orange-Yellow - 13008, Lemon Yellow - 13005, Green - 13067, Orange - 13013, Red-Orange 13015, Red 13024, Burnt Sienna - 13090, ) - Lyr
  • #12 Flat Black Gold Watercolor Brush - Dynasty/FM Brush
  • Cream Smooth Card Stock - XPEDX
  • PeelNStick - Therm O Web
  • Navy Banana Paper - Victoria Paper
  • Emu Feathers - Red Oak Farms
  • Clipiola Brass Italian Paper Clip - Cavallini & Co.
  • Copper Metallic Marker - Marvy Uchida
Instructions

1. Stamp Construction des Lettres and Caligraphic Background on Cream card stock with Versafine Black Ink

2. Cut out stamped images; set aside background image.

3. Using Consruction des Lettres, color with Yellow Aquacolor over entire stamped image.

4. Shade in upper left corner with Orange Aquacolor and Yellow-Orange Aquacolor.

5. Shade lower right corner with Green Aquacolor.

6. Using your brush and some water, blend the colors together to remove the coloring lines

7. Do the same with the Calligraphic Background, using the Burnt Sienna, Red-Orange, and Orange Aquacolors and blend with watercolor brush and set aside to dry..

8. Pick up Artes des Lettres and cut a notch in the letter "w" at a 45 degree angle. This will act as the "pouch" for the feathers and Clipiola.

9. Arrange Feathers smallest to the bottom and the largest at the top; stick in "pouch". Attach PeelNStick to the back of the Artes des Lettres and mount on the Calligraphic Backround.

10. For effect, edge Calligraphic Background with Copper Metallic Pen. 11. Mount on Navy Blue Banana Paper.
