Instructions

1. Fold a piece of 8 ½” x 11” blue cardstock in half. Set aside as the base of the card.

2. Cut a layer of black cardstock ¼” smaller than the base. Set aside for layering.

3. Cut a piece of gold cardstock ¼” smaller than the black cardstock. With a sponge, randomly apply the Soft Gold ink over the gold paper. Sprinkle enamel embossing powder over the ink and heat to emboss. If a heavier texture is desired repeat the process. Set aside for layering.

10. Dip the paintbrush into the Soft Gold Dye Ink and randomly paint in portions of the image that you wish to emboss. Cover with the gold enamel embossing powder and heat to melt. In this example, I added embossing to the face, torso and wings.

11. With a sponge, add soft highlights around the stamped image using the Emerald Isles Splash Metallics. Set aside to dry.

12. Affix stickers to the edge of the paper, adding the stars around image.

13. Affix all layers together. I used white craft glue with the textured paper and double stick tape for the layers.

14. Spray a fixative over the entire card. Let dry and spray the card again with glitter spray. For this example, I embossed over a dye ink that dries very rapidly. You must cover the embossed area quickly or the enamel will not stick. Once the enamel is applied, you can re-heat it and apply more for additional texture.
