Instructions
1. Trim blue cardstock to form 5 ½” x 4 ¼” card.
2. Trim fuchsia cardstock to 4” x 5” and adhere to card with PVA adhesive.
3. Trim one piece of watercolor paper to 3 ¾” x 4 ¾”.
4. Stamp Dancin’ Babe on watercolor paper using violet ink. Stamp Sea Plant around Dancin’ Babe with Cocktail Olive ink.
5. Mask Ko’olau stamp and stamp only clouds with Ice Mint Blue ink.
6. Stamp Happy Birthday on a small piece of watercolor paper with Raspberry Cordial ink and trim.
7. On a third piece of watercolor paper (about 5” x 7”), paint pink, blue, green and violet colors, allowing colors to blend slightly. Set aside to dry.
8. Use black ink to stamp 7 balloons on dry watercolors. Cut out all balloons and another piece on which to layer Happy Birthday.
9. Layer Happy birthday and watercolor paper, adhering with PVA.
10. Arrange balloons on card as shown. Use PVA to attach balloons and Happy Birthday to card.
11. Use black pen to draw ribbons from balloons to Dancin’ Babe. Also draw a few lines to ground Dancin’ Babe.
12. Attach Happy Birthday to card with PVA.
