Instructions
1. Measure out a section of printed collage paper to wrap around canister.
2. Print out the words "vacation fund" onto white paper and make a reverse photocopy, which will be transferred to the
collage sheet. (It needs to be a toner-based copy, inkjet won’t work.)
3. Place photocopy, text side down, onto the collage paper where you’d like to transfer the text. Using Blender pen, rub
across back side of photocopy until paper is wet. Use bone folder to burnish well until text is transferred to collage paper.
Let dry. NOTE: This pen contains Xylene and is toxic; please use in a well-ventilated area.
4. Using blue and gold shades of glitter to match the collage paper, highlight the sky and water on the collage paper. Let
dry.
5. Use mounting squares to attach collage paper around canister.
6. If the paper doesn’t wrap all the way around the canister, glue coordinating ribbon over the gap, using Tacky
Glue.
7. Print out song lyrics to "Jersey Girl" to fit behind transparency of guy and two gals sitting on the beach.
8. Layer song lyrics behind transparency and layer mount over that, using mounting squares. Attach whole piece to canister
with Tacky Glue and hold for a while to let it start sticking around the curve of the canister. Use rubber bands to hold
piece in place overnight or until dry.
9. Tear out desired portion of child on beach photocopy and layer with mounting squares behind transparency of "Behind the
Sea" and attach to canister with clear mounting squares.
10. Cut a slot into the plastic lid of canister.
