Instructions

1. Cut a piece of dark green cardstock 7 X 5 ½". Set aside for layering.

2. Cut a piece of dark orange cardstock ¼" smaller than the dark green cardstock. Set aside for layering.

3. Cut a piece of cream cardstock ¼" smaller than the dark orange cardstock. Set aside for layering.

4. Cut a piece of canary yellow cardstock ¼" smaller than the cream cardstock. Set aside for layering.

5. Cut another piece of cream cardstock ¼" smaller than the canary yellow cardstock. This piece will be used for coloring and stamping.

6. Cut two sun die shapes, one from canary yellow cardstock, one on scrap paper that will be used as a stencil.

7. Using the cherry red ink, stamp the sun face on the canary yellow die cut. Let dry and spray with glitter. Set aside to dry and to use later for embellishment.

8. On the cream colored cardstock, place the scrap paper sun die cut as a stencil and gently sponge around it with the cherry and ochre inks. This will create the halo effect around the sun die cut that is to be mounted in the center of the Card.

9. With the cherry red ink, stamp the sun (wavy rays) at the bottom of the card. Set aside to dry.

10. With the Ochre ink, rubber stamp the rainbow and stardust, cover with detail gold powder and emboss. Do this quickly or the ink will dry.

11. Mount the sun die cut to the card, outline the focal piece with the gold leafing pen and adhere all layers together.
