Beginner--A Greeting card layered with decorative paper and brads, featuring Stewart Superior products.
Supplies
  • Medium Beige Colored Cardstock (Paper Adventures)
  • Black Cardstock (Paper Adventures)
  • Pewter Colored Cardstock (Artist’s Own)
  • Patterned Paper Grandma’s Trunk (Karen Foster Design)
  • Black Memories Dye Ink Pad (Stewart Superior Corp.)
  • Silver Memories Metallic Marker (Stewart Superior Corp.)
  • Cowboy Stamp (Artist’s Own)
  • Grass & Tree Stamps (Artist’s Own)
  • Pewter Colored Square Nail Brads (Artist’s Own)
  • Glue Stick UHUstic (Saunders)
  • Hole Punch (Artist’s Own)
Instructions

1. Cut a piece of medium beige cardstock, when folded measures 5 ½" x 5 ¾". Set aside as the base of the card.

2. Cut a piece of black cardstock that measures 1/8" smaller than the base. Set aside for layering.

3. Cut a piece of patterned paper 1/8" smaller than the black cardstock. Set aside for layering.

4. Cut a piece of black cardstock that measures 1/8" smaller than the patterned paper. Set aside for layering.

5. Cut a piece of pewter cardstock 1/8" smaller than the last black layer.

6. With the black dye ink, stamp the cowboy, grass and trees on the Pewter colored layer.

7. With the metallic pen, highlight the rope, belt, gun handle, saddle, bridle, grass.

8. With the glue stick, affix layers together excluding the base.

9. Punch holes in the corner of the patterned paper and black layer, and affix the brads.

10. With the glue stick, affix the layers to the base. The back of the brads will be hidden between the layers and the base of the card.
