Trio of Pears

These three pears illustrate three different ways to create texture right on the stamp.

Supplies
- White Matte Cardstock (Artist’s Own)
- Paper Trimmer (Genesis)
- Pear with Leaf Stamp (A Stamp In the Hand)
- Tin Foil (Artist’s Own)
- Baby Wipes or Moist Paper Towel (Artist’s Own)
- Medium Weave Magic Mesh (Magic Mesh)
- Non-Stick Scissors (Fiskars)
- Bubble Wrap (Artist’s Own)
- Chrome Yellow, Van Dyke Brown, Sapmoss Green, Chartreuse Leaf, Damson Plum, Rose Madder, and Prussian Blue Nick Bantock Collection Ink Pads (Ranger Industries)
- Three Stipple Brushes (Artist’s Own)
- Gold Krylon Leafing Pen (The Sherwin-Williams Company)
- Personal Paper Trimmer with Scoring Blade (Fiskars)
- Patriot Blue Classic Linen Cover (Neenah Paper)
- Xyron 900 with Permanent Adhesive Cartridge (Xyron)

Instructions
1. Cut white matte cardstock to 8" x 3 7/8".
2. Ink pear with Chrome Yellow and Van Dyke Brown inks.
3. Press into a crumpled-up piece of tin foil.
4. Remove ink from the leaves with baby wipe or moist paper towel.
5. Ink leaves and stem with Sapmoss Green ink, avoiding the pear.
6. Ink stem with Van Dyke Brown.
7. Stamp onto cardstock.
8. Clean stamp.
9. Cut a piece of Magic Mesh with Non-Stick Scissors and stick onto stamp.
10. Stipple pear with Chartreuse Leaf and Damson Plum inks.
11. Remove Magic Mesh and repeat steps 4 through 8.
12. Ink pear with Rose Madder and Prussian Blue inks.
13. Press stamp into a piece of bubble wrap.
14. Repeat steps 4 through 8.
15. Stipple piece lightly with Chrome Yellow, Chartreuse Leaf, and Rose Madder inks.
16. Edge with Gold Leafing Pen.
17. Cut Patriot Blue card stock to 8½" x 9½". Score and fold in half.
18. Run the stamped piece through the Xyron and attach to the folded card.
