Instructions
- Trim two sheets of the butterfly blue crinkle pattern paper to 8 1/2 x 11. Karen Foster makes this easy by putting cutting lines on the back.
- I like to lay my stickers out on the page to get an idea of where they should go, so I cut the stickers apart (backing and all). Since I did this it made it easier to make the cuts in the seaweed and coral to have the eel "snake" through them. Since these stickers are printed on a clear background you can see him behind the border sticker. For this same reason I placed a couple of the clown fish behind the seaweed border as well. To make the sea horse look like he is attach to the coral carefully make a cut around the coral branch and then make another cut on the end of the sea horse's tail. Then slide the stickers together and hook the tail on the coral. Next add starfish on top of the border.
- Crop and trim the photos and place on the cobalt cardstock. I wanted to use the pamphlet from the marine but the colors were too vibrant for my layout so I cut out their symbol and incorporated it into my title. Print out your title on the computer leaving space for the symbol, and then glue the shark in place. Adhere the title mat to the top of the page. For the journal block, use the Hallmark Scrapbook Studio program and sticker of the turtle I cut out earlier, I made space between the words to make the turtle part of the journaling. You can measure the arm to get an idea and then add or take away spaces as needed. Print out on plain paper then line your journal box on that paper use the removable tape to adhere then cardstock. Place the turtle sticker on the journaling then place on layout.
- Make a cut between the octopus's tentacles and place the picture in the cut. Add remaining shark and fish stickers. Place air bubbles around the page.
- Place layout in a page protector.
