Instructions

1. Choose a page spread based on the words contained therein.

2. Reinforce the pages: Use gel medum to glue the the right page to 2 pages behind. Do the same for the left page of the spread.

3. Paint the left-hand page with Dark Chocolate paint, except for the text that inspires the theme of the page spread.

4. Paint a thin coat of buttermilk paint onto foam stamps and stamp phrase over dark paint. Let dry.

5. Sponge copper paint over page, avoiding saved text. Cover the stamped phrase lightly.

6. Use foam brush to smoosh extra copper and buttermilk paints into the right side of the page, getting down into the book gutter.

7. Sponge Pumpkin Spice ink all over page, including areas that were avoided earlier.

8. Outline stamped phrase with copper glitter.

9. Use copper clipo to highlight a word on the page. Adhere with Diamond Glaze; use cotton swab to fill in clipo with Diamond Glaze.

10. While left page dries, create computer collage from digital photos, cropping the eyes from a variety of photos. Print on vellum paper.

11. Trim vellum to fit right page. Sponge Pumpkin Spice ink all over the vellum. Stamp Mona eyes at top and bottom of digital collage with Pumpkin Spice ink. Let dry.

12. Attach vellum panel to right-hand page, using vellum tape.

13. Choose appropriate words from Magnetic Poetry and attach to page spread with Glue Dots.

14. Punch one hole in each outer corner of the page spread, as shown, and insert eyelets. Set eyelets.

15. Finish off the backs of the spread by gluing one more page to the back of each of the facing pages. This ensures the backs of the eyelets don’t show on other page spreads. Use a glue dot on the backs of each eyelet if they seem loose.
