  • Pink Stripe Patterned Paper (Boxer Scrapbooks)

  • Dog Lover’s Alphabet Stickers (Boxer Scrapbooks)
  • Small Flower Punch (EK Success)
  • Paper Reflections Cardstock (DMD Industries)
  • Pink Netting (Artist’s Own)
  • Computer font – Monotype Cursiva (Artist’s Own)
Instructions

1. Using the Rectangle tin album template, score across the top of one piece of bright pink pre-cut album pages approximately ½” from the top. This card will fold across the top of the card instead of from the side.

2. Also using the template, mark the four holes where the flowers will be added and the card tied together.

3. Put two pieces of the pink album pages together with the scored piece on top. With a hole punch, punch through the pages where the holes were marked through the template.

4. Using the small flower punch, punch 4 yellow flowers.

5. Set pink eyelets in the center of the flowers.

6. Adhere the flowers around the holes.

7. Thread pieces of netting through the holes and tie in small knots. This will create the binding of the card. The score line is actually where the card will open from. 8. Trim pink stripes paper to 2 ½” x 4 ¾” and adhere to the face of the card slightly under the score line.

9. Trim blue plaid to 1 ½” x 4 ¾” and round two of the corners with a corner rounder. Then adhere to the bottom of the face of the card.

10. Using a third pre-cut bright pink album page, trim ¼” strip and adhere across the seam of the printed papers. (Trim the same length as the length of your card.)

11. Mount a mega alpha sticker on white cardstock and trim.

12. Mat with bright pink cardstock.

13. Punch another yellow flower and adhere to the side of the letter.

14. Add the eyelet through the flower. This will leave a hole through the pink mat too.

15. Thread a piece of netting through the hole in the center of the flower and slide a baby charm onto the netting. Then tie a small knot.

16. Using the small alphabet stickers, start spelling the greeting from the far right side of your card and work your way backwards. Finish your greeting with the mega letter on the mat. This will allow the correct spacing for however long of a greeting you want on your card.

17. Print your desired greeting on white cardstock and trim to 4” x 4 ¾,” centering the phrase. Use the corner rounder on the bottom corners and adhere to the inside of your card.
