Beginner: Glossy Accents is a clear, three-dimensional gloss medium that is used to accent and brighten craft projects. It can even be used under embellishments to make them stick and on top to protect and add glossy flare.
Supplies
  • Clear Acetate (Artist’s Own)
  • White Cardstock (Artist’s Own)Distress embossing powders (Ranger Industries)
  • Assorted Adirondack powders (Ranger Industries)
  • Glossy Accents (Ranger Industries)
  • Black Dabber Acrylic Paint (Ranger Industries)
  • Jet Black Archival Ink (Ranger Industries)
  • Dries Clear Glue (Art Institute)
  • Fish Stamp (Artist’s Own)
  • Postcard Stamp (Artist’s Own)
Instructions

1. Ink and stamp image on acetate with Black acrylic paint. When dry flip over and start applying Glossy Accents one small section at a time.

2. Sprinkle with embossing powder and remove excess, repeating for each additional color. When dry cut to desired size and brush off any excess powders.

3. On White card, stamp postcard image with black Archival Ink. Cut to desired size.

4. Flip acetate over again and attach embossing powder side to blank side of post card.
