Beginner – Create “witchy” invitations that none of your guests will be able to resist! Use a die cut image for the card front.
Supplies
  • Black cardstock (Artist’s Own)
  • Meow Texture patterned paper (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
  • Family Fun Accents border sticker (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
  • Cat stamp - Cat Lovers Stamp Set (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
  • Cat die cut (Artist’s Own)
  • Star stamp (All Night Media, Plaid)
  • Embossing ink (Artist’s Own)
  • Orange pigment ink (Artist’s Own)
  • Black embossing powder (Artist’s Own)
  • VersaMark ink (Tsukineko)
  • Chalk (ColorBox)
  • Instructions

    1. Cut a triangle, 7" tall and 6" wide, from scrap paper. Trace the triangle twice on black cardstock so that both new triangles share a common side. Cut out the entire shape, and fold it in half to make the card.

    2. Cut a brim for the hat from black cardstock, and glue it to the front of the card.

    3. Stamp and heat-emboss the star randomly several times on the front of the card.

    4. Stamp and heat-emboss a cat in the center of a 6" x 2" piece of Meow Texture paper.

    5. Adhere the paper to the front of the card, and trim the excess.

    6. Add black and white border stickers above and below the paper, and trim the excess.

    7. Ink the edges of the card with orange ink.
