Halloween Night

Three fearsome figures
went for a stroll
by the light of the silvery moon.
"We've no candy at present,"
they told one another,
"but we'll have plenty to eat quite soon!"
"Eek!" cried a princess
as she beat a retreat.
They'd given her quite a fright.
"Don't be scared," called the trio
as she rounded the corner.
"It's only Halloween night!"

Supplies
 - White cardstock (Provo Craft)
- Meow Texture patterned paper (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
- Black Dot patterned paper (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
- Meow 3/8" grosgrain ribbon (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
- Halloween charms (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
- Nickel mini brads (Boxer Scrapbook Productions)
- Date stamp (Artist’s Own)
- Orange dye ink (Artist’s Own)
- A Little Pot and Century Schoolbook fonts (Artist’s Own)

Instructions
1. Trim four photos to 2" x 3". Select one additional 4" x 6" photo.
2. Using black and orange ink, print the title on the white cardstock, about 3/4" from the top edge and 6" from the left edge.
3. Cut a 12" x 1" strip of Black Dot paper; sand the edges, and adhere it to the page about 7" from the top.
4. Add the photos, as shown.
5. Scallop one edge of a 1/2" x 6" strip of Meow Texture paper. Ink the edges, and punch one hole in each scallop. Adhere along the left edge of the large photo.
6. Repeat Step 5 with a 3" strip of paper. Adhere it along the right edge of the bottom right photo.
7. Print the journaling on a 4" x 3" piece of Meow Texture paper. Ink the edges, and add it to the layout.
8. Adhere a 13" length of Meow ribbon across the Black Dot paper strip; tape the ends down on the back of the page.
9. Using a piercing tool, make three holes through the ribbon, paper, and cardstock below the large photo. Use Nickel mini brads to attach three Halloween charms to the layout.
10. Stamp the date in the lower right corner.
