Love in a Box Cardstock by Di Hickman |
|
Beginner - Since you’re busy making the cards why not alter a box for your child to take the cards to school in? A simple gift box can be brightened up with patterned paper, stickers, die cuts and ribbon to make a strong statement. Plus, once you've handed out all your cards, it's empty and available for receiving cards and gifts too!

Instructions
1. The box was 6 1/2 " x 4 1/2" and the perfect for the A1 size cards.
2. To cover the panels simply hold the paper against the panel and make cutting marks with a pencil. The straight panels make this an easy project!
3. Use strong adhesive to glue the paper to the box.
4. Once all the panels are dry use an inkpad "direct to paper" technique and lightly stroke along the edges.
5. Add "LOVE" with alphabet stickers, replacing the O with a die cut felt heart.
6. Finish by tying ribbon around and into a decorative bow.
