Beginner - What better way than to get the kids involved with Valentine’s Day than to let them make their own cards? This simple but cute card design uses supplies you may already have and that will really catch your eye! Cute enough for anyone to give, simple enough for little hands to make!

Supplies
 - Cardstock (Worldwin)
- Patterned Paper (KI Memories)
- Gold Thread (Darice)
- Ink (Rubber Stampede)
- Gold cardstock (Artist’s Own)
- Brad (Artist’s Own)
- Circle punch (EK Success)
- Circle frames die cut (Sizzix)

Instructions
1. Create an A2 card base from white paper by cutting cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2 " and folding in half.
Punch 1" circle into lower right corner using circle punch.
2. Adhere patterned paper to top half of card only and trim to size, using existing hole as guide punch through patterned paper.
3. Cut transparency to 2" and adhere between card base and patterned paper, adhere patterned paper to card base. This hides the transparency edges from both sides of the card!
4. Cut pink cardstock into 1" strip and adhere to left side of card base.
5. Die cut gold cardstock with circle frames, run through a Xyron machine and adhere to punched hole.
6. Attach brad to transparency using glue dots.
7. For final touches add gold ink to edges and wrap gold thread around the patterned paper edge.
