Beginner - I have to say I am a sucker for flowers on cards. The really can add the perfect accent. If the flower seems a little harsh, maybe too white like the one on this card originally did, simply take your ink pad and add some ink to the edges. Inking the edges of the card and flower with gold ink, along with the gold vellum, gold pen, and gold accents creates unity in a card.

Supplies
 - Cardstock (Die Cuts With a View)
- Patterned paper (Scenic Route)
- Stamp (Fiskars)
- Ink (Rubber Stampede)
- Vellum (Artist’s Own)
- Brad (Artist’s Own)
- Flower (Artist’s Own)

Instructions
1. Create square card base by cutting cardstock to 5" x 10" and folding in half.
2. Cut patterned paper to 5" x 4" and mount onto gold vellum, trim leaving a 1/4" border on right side and mount onto card base.
3. Stamp greeting on cardstock, mount onto gold vellum and trim using decorative scallop scissors.
4. Add some gold pen detail.
5. Ink edges of flower with gold ink, and attach to card using brad.
