Plastic Mini Album
Albums by Christa Trivisonno for Graphix Arts
Find a store near you! Printable Project Card
Are you just itching to create one of those clear albums you’ve been seeing in the magazines and online? Pick up some Craft Plastic by Grafix. These sheets of rigid plastic are perfectly clear, yet they can be easily cut with scissors or a craft knife and even some die cutting systems. Embellish your pages with colorful papers, ribbons, eyelets and brads and you’ve got an album that is clearly amazing! Craft Plastic can even be used to create boxes, baskets and gift holders.
Supplies
  • Craft Plastic (Grafix)
  • Double Tack (Grafix)
  • Alphabet stickers (Creative Imaginations)
  • Alphabet sticker (K& Company)
  • Ribbons (Artist’s Own)
  • Permapaque markers (Sakura of America)
  • Tabs (Creative Imaginations)
  • Tape (Artist’s Own)
  • Patterned paper
  • Cardstock (Artist’s Own)
Instructions

1. Cut 5 pieces of Craft Plastic to 5” x 5”. Peel the liner off of one side of the Craft Plastic sheets. Using tape, mask off areas of the craft plastic sheets to create stripes, borders and corners. Color in the exposed areas with markers, let dry.

2. Size photos to 2”x 3” and mount with Double Tack. Adhere the photos to the Craft Plastic pages as desired. Cover the reverse of each photo with cardstock or patterned paper.

3. Print your text and layer with cardstock and papers and mount to the reverse of the photos.

4. Further embellish your pages with letter stickers and tabs.

5. Punch holes along the left side of the pages. Tie pages together with ribbons.
