Chipboard Easter Basket
Paper Crafting by Graphix Arts
Find a store near you! Printable Project Card
Beginner - You can find Chipboard letters, shapes and frames in nearly every craft and scrapbook store. But how about using Chipboard as a surface for a scrapbook page or craft project? That’s right; embellish the Chipboard rather that using the Chipboard as an embellishment!
Supplies
  • White Chipboard 8.5”x11” (Grafix)
  • Pink cardstock (Artist’s Own)
  • Orange Cardstock (Artist’s Own)
  • Double Tack (Grafix)
  • Ribbon (Artist’s Own)
  • Patterned Paper (Artist’s Own)
  • Glue (Artist’s Own)
  • Circle Punches (Artist’s Own)
Instructions

1. Cut 5 pieces of Chipboard that are 3” x 3” each. Glue the squares together so that they form a cube with an open top.

2. Wrap the box in decorative paper leaving the top open. Decorate a sheet of Chipboard with circles punched out of the pink and orange cardstock. The circles may be adhered with Double Tack.

3. Die cut or cut by hand 4 egg shapes out of the chipboard you have decorated. Using Double Tack, secure an egg to each of the 4 sides of the cube. Punch a hole in 2 of the egg tops to attach the handle.

4. Cut a length of ribbon long enough for a handle and secure with a brad in each side. Fill you basket with grass and candies!
