Easter Eggs

Beginner - Like most holidays Easter is most actively celebrated by children, but that's no reason that adults shouldn't celebrate it too! Take loads of pictures and add them to colorful seasonal layouts.
Supplies
  • Cardstock (Die Cuts With a View)
  • Patterned paper (Hot off the Press)
  • Flowers (Hot off the Press)
  • Alphabet die cuts (Hot off the Press)
  • Pens (Sakura of America)
  • Brads (Hot off the Press)
  • Stamps (Hot off the Press)
  • Ink (Ranger Industries)
  • Buttons (Artist’s Own)
  • Glue stick (UHU)
  • Zots glue dots (Thermoweb)
Instructions

1. Cut patterned paper to 3.5" and butt up against the other sheet to form a building block design, adhere to a spare sheet of cardstock, and trim.

2. Cut green paper 6.5" high x 12" wide, ink edges and adhere to layout. Cut striped paper into thin strips, ink edges and adhere to layout.

3. Adhere photos onto magenta papers and trim, ink all the edges and adhere to layout.

4. Stamp "Easter" greeting using acrylic stamps and Hydrangea ink pad.

5. Pop out die cut letters from pad, apply adhesive to the front and adhere to the BACK of the magenta paper, trim, ink edges and adhere to the layout.

6. Embellish the layout with flowers, brads, and buttons and add some pen work around the layout and some fake stitching. Finish by adding journaling.
