Cut Out For Love favor

Using the cookie cutters could represent a couple that enjoys cooking together or simply just because the pair is “cut out for love”! The sweet little cookie cutters that could be used later for cooking and craft projects, the tag can be easily attached to a scrapbook page to remember the day, and the tin can be used to store keepsakes from the wedding that are too bulky for a scrapbook project.
Supplies
  • Cardstock: Berry Sorbet (Papertrey Ink)
  • Chipboard: lightweight white coasters (Eclectic Paperie)
  • Die cuts: Cuttlebug hearts dies (Provocraft), small oval punch (Stampin’ Up!)
  • Embellishments: silver cord, silver eyelets, Dazzling Diamonds glitter (Stampin’ Up!)
  • Ink: Berry Sorbet (Papertrey Ink), Whisper White craft (Stampin’ Up!), Jet Black Archival (Ranger)
  • Ribbon: Berry Sorbet satin (Papertrey Ink)
  • Stamps: Boxes, Bags & Tags, Polka Dot Basics, Favor It Weddings (Papertrey Ink)
  • Tin: 2.5 oz. round clear top tin (Papertrey Ink)
Instructions

1. Die cut hearts from the white coasters.

2. Use a glue pen to adhere glitter to the front of one heart.

3. Press the other heart into the Berry Sorbet ink to color it. Set aside to dry.

4. Stamp the sentiment onto the Berry Sorbet cardstock and add the flourish image with white pigment ink.

5. Punch out sentiment with a small oval punch. Ink the edge of the oval with white pigment ink.

6. Set an eyelet into the top left part of the glittered heart.

7. Adhere hearts together and add the sentiment piece to the front.

For the tin:

1. Cut a circle from the Berry Sorbet cardstock to fit into the bottom of the round tin. Stamp polka dots onto the circle with white pigment ink. Ink the edges of the circle with white pigment ink. Adhere piece to the bottom of the tin.

2. Adhere the Berry Sorbet ribbon to the outside bottom edge of the tin. Tie off ends into a bow.

3. Use silver cord to attach the tag to the tin.

4. Insert mini heart cookie cutters into the tin.
