Supplies

- Buttons: Holiday Craft
- Cardstock: Basic Textured Cardstock and 12” x 12” Cardstock in Cocoa, Cranberry, Colonial White and Olive
- Fibers: Colonial White Waxy Flax
- Ink: Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads in Cocoa, Cranberry, Desert Sand, New England Ivy and Olive
- Ribbon: Designer Ribbon Rounds™ Garden Green Collection and Colonial White Collection

Instructions
1. Cut 9 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of Cocoa cardstock. Using Dry Embossing tool and paper trimmer, score a checkered box pattern then swipe with Cocoa ink pad to enhance pattern or trace with Cocoa marker. Fold paper at 5½” in half and glue on each end to create a pocket.
2. Cut 3 ½” x 4” and 5” x 3 ¾” piece of Desert Sand textured cardstock. Swipe with Cocoa ink pad to bring out textured look.
3. Stamp watermelon rhine in from Summer Sweetness stamp set in Olive ink onto Olive cardstock and cut out. Stamp watermelon on Cranberry cardstock in Cranberry ink. Stamp seeds in Black ink and cut out. Adhere watermelon pieces on 3 ½” x 4” piece of Desert Sand textured cardstock.
4. Stamp the words “Summer” and “BBQ” in Cocoa ink on Colonial White cardstock. Cut out words in a square and distress edges with Cocoa ink. Adhere to right corner of 3 ½” x 4” piece of Desert Sand textured cardstock then adhere to front pocket of card. Tie Cranberry ribbon around front.
5. Cut 4 ½” x 3 ½” piece of Olive cardstock and 3 ½” x 2 ½” piece of Colonial White cardstock with all the event information printed on it. Swipe edges of Colonial White cardstock with Cocoa ink and stamp watermelon in center using Cranberry and Olive inks and second generation stamping technique for a lighter look. Adhere to center of Olive cardstock and stamp rind in Olive ink around outside boarders. Adhere button to upper left hand corner and adhere Cranberry and Colonial White ribbon to back of card. Adhere to 5” x 3 ¾” piece of Desert Sand textured cardstock.
