Pretty Paper Flower Favor Stamped Gifts by Lauren Meader |
|
When love blooms, this table favor made from an exclusive Papertrey Ink heart tin and all paper flowers is sure to be a hit. I thought doing an all paper flower favor arrangement would be not only fun, but very cost effective. They will certainly last longer than real flowers. I think people will be amazed that you can take paper crafting to that level. It is also an enjoyable activity for any bride and her bridal party to do together, as they sit and chat about the excitement of the big day!

Instructions
Heart Tin:
1. You will not be using the lid in this project.
2. Cut white cardstock to size. Stamp flower image onto cardstock. Use redline tape to cover heart tin with stamped cardstock. Tie around sweet blush satin ribbon.
3. Put in a bit of foam into the bottom of the tin. Place in some tulle.
4. Using heart nestabilities, cut a scallop from sweet blush cardstock. Cut a smaller straight edge heart from white cardstock. Stamp as desired. Adhere rhinestone sticker.
5.Use nestabilities to cut heart shapes. Layer large scallop onto back end of food pick. Layer white straight edge heart onto the front of the food pick. Take the wooden food pick, and stick it into the heart tin.
Paper Flowers:
1. Using the pear shaped punch-punch 6 petals per flower (18 total) from sweet blush cardstock, 2 birch leaves per flower (6 total) from spring moss cardstock, 5 of the snowflake's from spring moss cardstock, and 5 mini boho flowers from berry sorbet cardstock.
2. You color the bottoms of the "pear shaped" punched petals from sweet blush cardstock, using a Copic marker.
3. Then you take your embossing stylus, and press the bottom of the petal in. This makes it pop up at the petal top.
4. Use your paper craft tweezers' to curl the petal tops back.
5. Use a clear pop up glue dot, and apply to center of snowflake shape. Then layer on your petals. (6 per flower)
6. Next your place your smaller flower in the center of the petals-and push it down with your embossing stylus. This makes it all curl up, like natural flower. I added a adhesive rhinestone to my center, but you could use a variety of other things, like liquid pearls.
7. For the leaf, you simply take your embossing stylus and draw the spine. Attach where needed. Repeat these steps for all 3 flowers. Place in heart shaped tin.
8. Place 2 snowflake pieces in between paper flowers, and add a small punched flower over them. Apply rhinestones to flower centers.
