This Summer Camp Layout really captures the adventures your kids have at camp, from the super imposed compass in the water to the way the sun rays match the oars as they hit the water. Add this layout to your collection or display in your kids’ rooms to remember how much fun they had this summer as they head off to school next fall!

Supplies

Instructions
1. Using your Xyron Wishblade and Create and Cut software cut “Summer Camp” from gray and yellow printed cardstock.
2. Draw then cut 2 yellow 6 point stars (3” and 1.5”) and one red 6 point star (2”) with a 3/4” circle in the center of each. Assemble stars with small yellow star in the back, red in the center and large yellow on the top. Adhere each level with pop dots. Place a decorative brad in the center. Adhere to the upper left corner of the layout.
3. Draw then cut one 5.5” - 8 point star from blue cardstock with a 1” circle center and the letters N – S – W – and E at proper compass points as shown. Draw and Cut a 3” - 8 point star from red cardstock and a 1” yellow circle from yellow printed cardstock.
4. Cut three 1” x 12” tapered triangles from vellum. Fold along center to crease.
5. Cut bullseye paper along blue and red large circles. Cut around grey bottom right circles. Cut a 7” square from the red/grey dot paper. Place circles and square through the Xyron 900 with Permanent adhesive.
6. Adhere the 7” square to the bottom right corner of the red printed paper. Adhere the gray circle in the bottom right corner on top. Place the red and Blue large circles over the red/grey dot paper.
7. Adhere the blue8 point star in bottom right corner as shown. Place the edges of the vellum triangles over the 3 upper right points of the blue star. Place pop dots below the center of the red star and place on top of the red and vellum ones. Place pop dots under the yellow circle and adhere it above the red star. Place a decorative brad in center. Trim right and bottom sides.
8. Using the Design Runner and the Summer Vacation Disk print the sun in repeat mode along the center of the Red ribbon. Run Red Ribbon, Blue yellow ribbon and 8” of the small blue ribbon through the Xyron 150 with permanent adhesive.
9. Adhere the small blue ribbon on top of the red ribbon. Adhere to layout 1-1/2” from the bottom tucking the right side under the grey circle.
10. Place the Blue yellow ribbon 3/4” from the top of the layout aligning with the right side of the layout and tucking the left side under the stars on the right.
11. Cut a 5” square from the notebook printed cardstock punch 4 holes along the bottom and set silver eyelets in each hole.
12. Trim a 5 x 7” photo. Mat on 5.5 x 7.5” red cardstock (or digitally mat the photo in Adobe Photoshop and add text around border and screen compass – as shown in layout). Cut an 8” x 7” mat from the yellow printed cardstock. Place mat in Xyron 900 with permanent adhesive.
13. Remove top protective film from yellow mat. Place the matted photo on top of the yellow mat, Secure with Fasinator staples on left and right sides.
14. Adhere the matted photo in the upper left side of the layout as shown. Adhere the words “Summer Camp” over the top of the photo.
15. Using the Design Runner and Disk Maker. Type journaling and print on notebook square. Using the Vacation Disk print the “Memories of” quote along bottom.
16. Decorate notebook card with marker and stamps. Ink edges.
17. Place blue ribbon through the eyelet holes and tie the 3 charms near the left hole. Staple with Fasinator.
18. Place card between the red and yellow mats of the photo. Add the 2 photo turns along the bottom to hold in place.
19. Attach small silver brads through the vellum near the star and at the edge of the page.
