Family Memories Family Fun by Sandy Lindsay |
|
This layout with the family reunion shows us all gathered on a huge old redwood stump. We camped there and we’d go swimming in the Eel River, just like my siblings and I did 30 years prior to the reunion. We had a great opportunity to show our children where we lived in the woods. There were 38 of us in the family reunion picture, which included my brothers, their families, my sister and her family and me with my family. No one missed our first reunion. That was in 1978, and now in 2008 the 38 members have grown to 87 family members.

Instructions
1. I used 3 colors of acrylic paint on a damp sea sponge. I placed a little paint on a paper plate, tapped the sponge on the paint and then tapped it once or twice on a piece of scratch paper because I didn’t want too much paint in one spot on my cardstock/pattern paper. Then I went to my project and lightly dabbed the paint anywhere on the paper. It only took a minute to dry and then I repeated the steps with the other two colors. If you make a mistake, cover it with a photo or an embellishment.
2. I cut out flowers, leaves and a butterfly from a sheet of “Flutterby” by Terri Conrad and attached them to the page.
