Rogers' Reunion
Family Fun by Jen Foster
Find a store near you! Printable Project Card
This photo is very special. It’s the last photo taken of the family before my grandmother died. This is my grandmother, father, and all of his siblings. We treasure these moments since the family lives in all parts of the country. The journaling reads:

“Rogers Reunion 2001: This would be the last time the entire Rogers’ family would be together. Grandma Marcie died in 2002. In the photo: Harold, Richard, Ralph, David, Roy, Beverly, Grandma, and Shirley.”
Supplies
  • Adhesive: ATG, Xyron, Glue Dots
  • Buttons: mother-of-pearl floral buttons
  • Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
  • Floss: DMC
  • Elements: Provencial Fair (Tinkering Ink)
  • Embellishments: paper frills borders (DoodleBug)
  • Ink (on buttons): Cat Eye Yellow Citrus chalk ink.
  • Patterned Paper: Provencial Fair (Tinkering Ink)
  • Pen: Zig Writers
Instructions

1. Creating the layout is simple. Anyone can do it. First, I used a corner shaper on the corners of the photos, matted the photo onto the dark blue Bazzill, and used the corner rounder to shape the corners.

2. Then, I triple matted the photo onto the coordinating Tinkering Ink, once again, shaping the corners with the corner shaper.

3. After matting the main photo, I took two of the coordinating, Tinkering Ink papers and cut them into wide strips. I laid them on the yellow cardstock. I ran the Tinkering Ink Alphas through the Xyron and attached them to the layout.

4. Add the triple matted photo. This kit included the beautiful Doodle Bug paper frills borders. They added a nice touch of frill to this layout.

5. Apply the Cat’s Eye Ink to the Mother of Pearl buttons for a touch of color. While the buttons dry (you must allow several minutes for this), fill out the journaling on the tag. After buttons dry, tie knots with DMC floss, and attach them to the layout.

I have been scrapbooking for more than 10 years. I’m a wife, mother of two, and work full-time. I am, currently, a member of the EBB Creations Design Team (where all the above products came from). Aside from scrapping, I enjoy photography, Girl Scouting, and the outdoors.

Note: All of the images on scrapbooking.com can be clicked on and one of two things will happen. Either a detailed page about the layout will be displayed or a more detailed version of the picture will appear
