Fold out frames are a unique and space saving way to add journaling to your scrapbook page. I created ornate looking corners to adorn this heirloom photograph. I wanted the page to look pretty, but I also want to preserve the memories by including journaling. To view the journaling, simply open the photograph like a card.
Supplies
  • Patterned Paper (AG065, Anna Griffin)
  • Cardstock (Canson)
  • Green Pen (Zebra Antique Hyper Gel 7.0)
  • Square Punch (Deco Square, Family Treasures)
  • Renaisssance Punch (All Night Media)
  • Lettering Template (Fun Block, Chatterbox)
  • Paper Trimmer (Fiskars)
  • Scissors (Cutter Bees, EK Success)
  • Adhesive (Glue Dots)
  • Glue Pen (EK Success)
Instructions

-Copy and enlarge the photograph using the Kodak Picture Maker.
BR>-Cut a piece of cardstock twice the size of your photograph and fold it in half.

-Mount the folded card to a contrasting piece of cardstock that is just about 1/8" larger.

-Punch 5 green deco squares and 3 Renaissance Squares.

-Cut the Renaissance Squares from the cardstock and mount them to the deco squares.

-Cut the finished squares in half and use them as photo corners and embellishments.

-Trace and cut the title using a lettering template.

-Adhere thinly cut strips from the paper trimmer to the frame of the page.
BR>-Completer the page by adorning the corners with the negative pieces from the punch.
