Instructions
This is a great page to display any quilt, not just a baby quilt. It can be "My First Quilt" if you quilt as a hobby, or "Sports Quilt" to match the theme of the quilt. I created the baby quilt page because I liked the soft colors.
-Begin by selecting a patterned quilt "fabric" paper, or select a few papers to use for the hearts and backdrops of the page. I used two plaids from the "Just Ducky Baby" Scrap Pad by ProvoCraft.
-Next, a heart and the word "quilt" were punched using the Sizzix Primitive Hearts Die Cut and the Sizzix Fun Serif Uppercase Alphabet.
-Cut the same plaid into a background for the title topper.
-Cut another primitive heart using a contrasting plaid or pattern to add some variety to the page.
-"Sew" buttons to the heart shapes using embroidery floss.
-Tear a piece of paper for the backdrop of the photo.
-Cut a second smaller mat for the photo. The outside tear and inside straight cut add dimension to the page.
-Adhere the "QUILT" title to a piece of paper the same color as the inside piece of paper the photo is mounted on.
-Mount the "QUILT" on the plaid piece previously cut.
-Use adhesive to arrange the components of the page.
-Use embroidery floss and a glue pen or spray adhesive to form the word "baby" or any other description of the quilt.
