Instructions

1. Tear 3 strips of patterned paper: one approximately 11" x 3" & 2 others approximately 4" x 4". With a spray bottle, lightly sprits the paper with water and crumple several times, being careful not to tear the paper. Smooth paper flat and let air dry or use an iron to dry paper. Stamp the paper randomly with a rubber stamp when dry. Mount on cardstock under photos.

2. Trim a dark colored cardstock into a rectangle and rub a silver stamp pad along its edge. With the same color cardstock, create a pocket and rip the top edge of the pocket. Rub silver stamp ink along the edges of the pocket and the torn edge. Mount on cardstock beside photos and put journaling in pocket.

3. Stamp hearts onto green cardstock and trim them out with scissors. Trim small strips of metal mesh and use the mesh to mount the stamped hearts onto the page. Mount the mesh to the page using small silver brads.

4. Tear a piece out of your background cardstock. Adhere 2 sheets of paper behind the layout and tear them so they show through in the front. Roll edges of paper out with damp fingers.

5. Using a small vellum tag, use the tag as a template to trim out a small photo. Mount the photo to the back of the tag so the photo shows through the vellum using adhesive on the frame. String fibers through the hole and mount along the torn vellum.

6. Roll out a piece of paper clay with a glass or your hand onto wax paper. Trim into desired shape by pinching off with fingers. Give clay a bumpier look to emulate snow by pushing into it with fingers. Then use a slightly damp sponge to press on the clay to smooth it out a bit. Using alphabet stamps, press your title into the clay. Press the eyelet letters & snowflake charm into the clay. Using a small paintbrush, brush Pearl Ex onto clay in random areas while the clay is still wet. Allow clay to air dry overnight. Adhere to layout with glue dots.
