Instructions
1. Download pattern into photo editing program and resize as desired: print out
o TIP: After printing out pattern, mark the front side

2. Layout pattern on cardstock face up and trace around edges with pencil; mark dotted lines for folding, then, lay pattern face down and trace again. Using a sharp craft knife with cutting mat or scissors, cut cardstock patterns out. Using a stylist, score dotted lines, then, fold on crease. Cut out windows and doors.
o TIP: At this point, it’s a good idea to cover all tabs before applying glue/glitter. If using the Terrifically Tacky Tape for attaching pieces together, apply tape to tabs and leave the pink liner intact until after the glitter application. If using another type of double sided tape, attach a small piece of wax paper to the tape to cover the exposed sticky side in order not to get glitter caught onto the tape.
3. Cover work area with wax paper or some other protective medium.
4. Optional: Stamp images or decorate the house cardstock pieces however you desire before the glue application.
5. Using either adhesive sheets or glitter glue applied with a glue brush, prepare house parts for glitter following adhesive manufactures directions. Hold prepared house section over wax paper or glitter tray and cover with glitter: turn piece over and tap lightly to dislodge loose particles. Make a funnel of the glittered covered paper and pour back into jar.
a. The glue applied with a brush to your surface will render a much denser layer of glitter than the adhesive sheets will; consequently, I used the adhesive sheets on the house bodies because I did not want a very dense coverage of glitter so my design could show through
b. Again, because I wanted my stamped designs to be visible, I used fine Diamond Dust glitter on all house bodies, but if just using a solid cardstock, the Antique Silver would look just as lovely.
c. CAUTION: Glass glitter is just what its name implies; fine, sharp splinters of glass! This is not a good product to use with children. If a child is helping you, use a craft brand of glitter that is rated for use with children. When cleaning up your work area wear gloves or use some other protective means to swipe up excess glitter so that your hands do not become irritated.
6. Layout, trace, cutout and score roofs on black or color of choice cardstock. Stipple glue around edges and places where ‘snow’ would tend to gather on a roof. Apply Antique Silver glitter or mica snow to wet glue.
7. Optional: Apply a design appropriate piece of patterned papers to the backside of windows and doors. Embellish with epoxy stickers by gently rubbing off glitter from area where you want to apply or you can use beads or whatever seems to fit your theme and heart’s desire.
a. TIP: I glittered the star that was cut out from the Star House and applied it to the chimney of the Barn House for a simple embellishment.
8. After all pieces have thoroughly dried, assemble houses with tabs to the inside. For extra strength, apply a piece of strapping tape or similar over area where tab joins the cardstock.
9. Apply a bead line of glue or 1/8th” tacky tape to house body roof edges, then, press roof into place
10. OPTIONAL: Ink coffee stir sticks using a brown marker followed by dabbing Pearlized Rust Ink (Brilliance). Fold light patterned cardstock in half and cut tree forms free hand (I call mine cupcake pines). Glue a piece of the stained coffee stick between the two cut tree forms, then, glitter as above. Stick exposed stick into a piece of Styrofoam in order to stand.
11. OPTIONAL: String buttons onto 26 g jewelry wire giving a twist behind each button to stabilize. Punch out chipboard alphas to form desired phrase, then, punch small hole: glitter as above and wire onto button garland, then, embellish with small text applied, tea stained tags and whatever else should suit your fancy.
