Before I started to scrapbook, I use to sew a lot (embroidery and cross stitching), now I have less time to stitch, so I introduced this aspect of my life into my card making.

Supplies
 - Brads: Creative Impressions
- Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
- Patterned paper: Let’s pretend (Imaginisce)
- Punches: corner rounder (EK Success)
- Ribbon: Fancy pants
- Sewing floss: DMC

Instructions
1. Cut your base cardstock (9 ½”x 6”).
2. Fold it by the middle.
3. With a punch make the scallop border.
4. Cut a 1” strip of patterned paper, and make the scallop border. Glue it in the front of the card.
5. Cut a piece of paper (6”) and tear the other side. Glue it in the front of the page (side by side with the strip of paper).
6. With the template and a pierce make holes in the front of the card, make “happy birthday”.
7. Following the holes, stitch in different colors with two strands of thread. And put a brad the i.
9. To finish the card cut a piece of ribbon and staple it to the card.
