When I make cards or layouts I love to hand stitch. This is a way to personalize them, but it takes a lot more time, but it worth’s the effort.

Supplies
 - Cardstock: recycled box, Bazzill Basics
- Floss: DMC, recycled string
- Ink: Staz-On (Tsukineko), Colorbox (Clearsnap)
- Other: Stickles (Ranger Industries)
- Paper: The Travel Stack (Die Cuts With a View)
- Punches: corner rounder (EK Success)
- Stamps: Outer Space (Sassafrass Lass), Small happy alphabet set (Wordsworth Art Stamps)

Instructions
1. Cut your base cardstock (9” x 6”).
2. Fold it by the middle.
3. Round two of the corners, with a rounder corner punch.
4. Cut a piece of patterned (6” x 4”) paper and tear one of the largest sides showing the white part of the tearing paper. Glue it in the front of the card.
5. In a scrap of black cardstock, make holes with the template and a pierce, and make the two balloons.
6. Following the holes, stitch in different colors with two strands of thread. Cut them and put foam adhesive in the back. Stick them in the front of the card.
7. Attach the string to the balloons with a knot.
8. Cut the Just the Edge stars stripe to fit in the front. Cover it with stickles, when dried stick it in the front.
9. Take the two strands of string and make a knot in the end of the strands, put a mini glue dot in the back of the knot and glue it to the card.
10. To finish the card stamp the words “Happy B-Day” in the front of tour card in different colors that coordinate with your papers.
