Seeing Me Me, Myself & I by Janis G. Medina-Maghinay |
|
This layout is a simple reminder of my journey of self-acceptance. When I was younger, I was guilty of being too critical of how I look. I never was really happy with my weight or my waistline - I was constantly dieting! It was a struggle that made me depressed and insecure for a long time. Luckily for me, I went through a self-discovery and healing phase where I realized that I have to love ME to be happy inside and out. It is a process that starts from within, a philosophy that one has to embrace fully. It was not easy to accept and forgive myself for my shortcomings but it was a step that is crucial to finding peace and happiness within.
