Supplies
  • Three Shades of Green Cardstock (Bazzill Basics)
  • Off-white Cardstock (Canson)
  • Zig Black Writer (EK Success)
  • Scissors (Fiskar’s)
  • Square Punch (Marvy Uchida)
  • Green Ribbon (Artist’s Own)
  • Carl Personal Cutter (Carl)
  • Pop Dots (All Night Media)
  • HERMAfix Vario Tabs (HERMA/EK Success)
  • Green Cardstock {used for backdrop} (Bazzill Basics)
Instructions

1. Cut two pieces of dark green cardstock to measure 9" x 6 ¾ " for cover of card.

2. Cut white cardstock to measure 6 ¼ " x 12".

3. First, fold the white cardstock in half, then unfold. Fold both ends to the middle foldline and unfold.

4. Turn the paper over and you’ll have three mountain folds. Think of the peaks as waves that you want to bring into shore by folding them in.

5. Keep the fold edges aligned with the edge of the paper as you work. When finished you will see three mountain folds.

6. On each of the mountain folds draw halves of shamrocks using the template provided. Alternate the halves from one side of the fold to the other and vary the sizes.

7. Cut the halves with a craft knife and separate the half from the rest of the fold.

8. Cut shamrocks from three shades of green cardstock to match the shapes cut in the folds.

9. Glue green shamrocks to matching shape of pop-outs.

10. Cut square of light green cardstock 2 ½"x 2 ½".

11. Cut frame of white cardstock and overlap green square by about 1/8".

12. On white mat, print Irish sayings around frame.

13. Glue one large shamrock on square and attach small shamrock with a Pop Dot.

14. Fold cover cardstock in half with bone folder. Cut 2" square in front cover with square punch. Center small square of shamrocks under square and adhere.

15. Insert end panel of folded white cardstock into the front and back cover and glue.
