Beginner to Advanced--This is the cover of the circle journal. It uses a card-size color blocking template.

- 12" Paper Trimmer, Cutterpede (EK Success)
- Clear Mounting Squares, Scrapbook Adhesives (3L)
- White and Black Cardstock (Bazzill Basics)
- Black Patterned Paper (KI Memories)
- Clipart Images (Microsoft Publisher)
- MT Script Computer Font (Microsoft)
- Word Labels, Real Life (Pebbles, Inc.)
- Definition Sticker (Making Memories)
- Metal Word Tag (Artist’s Own)
- White Brads (Making Memories)
- Ribbon (Offray)
- White Flower Brad (Artist’s Own)
- Color Blocking Template, Small (Deluxe Designs)

Instructions
1. Adhere white cardstock to journal cover. My cover was a 7 ¼" square.
2. Cut a strip of black patterned paper about 1/3 the size of the cover. Adhere to left side of cover.
3. Attach white ribbon to the right edge of the patterned paper.
4. Cut a 5" square from white cardstock and mat it with black cardstock.
5. Using a small color blocking template, lay out the design. Cut cardstock and photos or clipart to fit the spaces.
6. Type the title on the computer and trim it to fit the two center blocks.
7. Place definition sticker in the bottom block.
8. Attach metal word tag to top center block with two white brads.
9. Use label stickers to fill in any spaces.
