As much as I hate to admit it, up until very recently, I had never put any of my scrapbook layouts into albums. I had many years worth of layouts piling up, and as crazy as it sounds, I had been storing most of them in a big Rubbermaid container (which served as a great footstool while I was working on the computer)!

I think that my dilemma in getting things organized was deciding on a style of album that I really loved and felt I would be happy with for years to come. Of course, I wanted an album that was durable and expandable, but I also wanted an album that I could easily embellish and decorate myself; something that I could customize to fit my personality and scrapbooking style.

My search for the perfect album soon became the stepping stones for the development of one of my newest (and one of my favorite) products in the Narratives line by Creative Imaginations.

Here's the concept: a durable, expandable linen album with a page protector included in the cover. Inside the page protector is a REMOVABLE Narratives Transparency. This one album gives you an unlimited number of options for customizing your own album.

1. Use the album "as-is" with the removable Love Transparency.

2. Slip a layout of your choice inside the page protector with the removable transparency layered on top of it.

3. Remove the transparency from the album and replace it with your layout as is, or with a transparency of your choice

The greatest thing about these albums is that if you ever get tired of the cover of your album, you simply change it and put a new scrapbook page into the cover! It doesn't get any more versatile than that!

So if you've been putting off the daunting task of getting all of your layouts put into albums (like me) or if you're looking for a new style of album that offers you more versatility, then Narratives customizable albums is the solution! Keep an eye out for New Baby Girl and Baby Boy Narratives Customizable Albums available this summer.

Enjoy! Karen Russell

P.S. Just in case you were wondering, I finally put all of my layouts into albums!
