The versatility of the product line allows the designer to create layouts and projects that work for a wide variety of individuals and age groups. In the layout shown here, I wanted to capture some favorite memories of my son’s first year of soccer. I incorporated the Soccer Collection Patterned Papers, Clear Stickers, Clear Sportz Alphabet Stickers, Sportz Stencils, Epoxy Stickers, Headlines and brand new printed Sportz Twill for a classic layout that would work just as well for an older boy or girl as it does for a young one. I grounded the patterned paper background on black cardstock and incorporated shades of green cardstock to mat my photos. A clear sticker and resin Headline were used to create the title on the left side of the layout while the Sportz Alphabet Stickers and Stencils helped reinforce the theme and provide the reader with additional information on the right side. Epoxy stickers and twill added additional embellishment to finish off the layout.
The Sportz Collection consists of five themed sports groups: Soccer, Basketball, Football, Baseball and Hockey. Each Collection is made up of two coordinating patterned papers, a transparency, epoxy sticker, clear sticker sheet and resin headlines. Brand new to each collection is Printed Twill to coordinate back to each sport and Varsity Alphabet Stickers. In addition, Danelle has created an Athlete Collection that coordinates back to any of the sports. The Athlete Collection consists of a wonderful Sportz 12”x 12” album, Stencils, Epoxy Stickers, Alphabet Stickers, Athlete Transparency and Clear Stickers.
I love that you don’t have to be confined to creating only layouts with this collection. Consider creating entire albums or mini albums using the product from one of these lines. In the following example I wanted to create an ABC mini book highlighting my son, Brenden’s first year of T-Ball. I adhered the baseball patterned paper to the front of a mini album and embellished with stickers from the collection. To find the words for each letter of the alphabet I didn’t have to look any further than the package of stencils. Each stencil highlights a sports word beginning with that letter. I adhered a photo(s) to each page and added the positive space from the stencil right to the each page. I added stickers that worked back to each stencil letter on each page. Throughout the book I randomly embellished using the clear baseball stickers and baseball epoxy stickers. The book is held closed with the Printed Baseball Twill. I added some buckles and it makes a great closure for a mini book. Brenden loves being able to look through his entire T-Ball Season in one little book, just his size.
