Now that we have used brads to do what they were designed to do, let's try some ideas that require some thinking outside of the box.

Let's start with some ideas on using brads with letters. One idea is to use them in the holes of the letters, like with an "A" or an "e". Or how about using them instead of a letter. A heart brad would look great in place of an "o", especially in the word "love". And if you really want to go brad crazy, you could even create letters using brads. Just lightly write your word in pencil and use the line as a guideline for where to place your brads.



Brads can also be used with punch art and paper piecing. They look great as centers of flowers or even in the center of a star. And if you like paper piecing, brads are great for making moveable parts or even just adding a little decoration.
