Different types of stitches will give you different looks. You can just simply backstitch, which is great for stitching words. Cross-stitches, lazy daisies and blanket stitching all add fun looks to your pages. In "Sweet Baby" I printed the title on the backside of my cardstock and then punched holes following the lettering. I backstitched the title, following my hole punches while picking up a bead here and there as I went. I used some beads to add some accents to my frames as well. I stitched a row of beads on one frame, used a few beads and a charm on another and on the third frame I stitched on beads for photo corners.

Stitching is a great way to make pocket pages. Most adhesives aren't strong enough to hold a pocket on well so stitching is a perfect solution. You can stitch shapes to accent your photos like I've done in the Graduation layout. If your subject is wearing a cute outfit, stitch some matching accents on your page! To give your stitching a bit more dimension, simply chalk your design first and then stitch over it in a coordinating color. You can see an example of this on the trees I made for my border on the "Tree Hunt" layout. Stitching is also a great way to add accents to your frames or simply let the string become your frame.
