Polymer clay is one medium for creating fall-themed jewelry. The brilliant autumnal colors of Premo! Sculpey caught my eye, and I enjoyed adding the iridescence of Perfect Pearls™ and Roxs™ from JudiKins to accent them. I knew I would need something for that basic black turtleneck, so I made a necklace with beads and clay to showcase my love of beads.

The Rollabind™ system was the inspiration for my next additions to my autumn jewelry. I recently purchased this system and about 1,000 binding discs. The discs have so much potential besides their original binding intent! Their shape seems to be begging for stamped embellishment, so I created a bracelet and coordinating earrings with the discs.

The more I thought of jewelry for the fall, the more I realized I would need a pin for those thick pullover sweaters. With the rich canvas of these sweaters, I knew the pin had to be big and bold. I stacked up some dominoes, added some leaves and colored them in with rich fall colors, using my newest favorite markers, Adirondacks, which come in beautiful earth tones that are perfect for fall and work fabulously on dominoes.
After I finished the large pin, I knew I needed to create some conservative smaller pieces for every-day wear. This pin and coordinating earrings were the answer. Some single dominoes were the canvas for these simpler pins and some mini-dominoes were the perfect size for earrings.

Finally, I added another simple pin to accent my fall wardrobe: this single maple leaf enhanced by a glass disc.

With these projects, we are ready to accent and accessorize for fall. I can’t wait for the first signs of autumn to show off my newest accessories.
