When winter days are 50 degrees and raining I start creating my own snow with lots and lots of snowflakes. Cards made from snowflake stamps and snowflake punches are a quick way to send you winter wishes to your friends. And with the new clear alphabet stamps you can add a variety of winter sentiments.
Have you noticed that torn white cardstock looks like mounds of snow? A winter scene is simple to create by using torn white cardstock and punched trees on a pale blue card. For a little variety you can punch the trees from different shades of green cardstock. And if you have a more time, add Liquid Appliqué on the trees as snow. Allow the Liquid Appliqué to dry completely before heating.
Winter is the perfect time to work in warm colors. Reds, oranges and yellows are sure to warm the hearts of your friends. With temp staying below freezing for days and weeks I know they could use a thaw. The warm colors in this note card will let you friends know you are sending them warm wishes. Best of all, this card is quick and easy. How can you resist a 10-minute winter warm-up?
Life in the sunny south is great all most all year. On rare occasions we actually
get snow! Most of the time we have plenty of bright sunshine. And that’s my winter wish for you. While I dream of the wind whispering through snow covered pines, I hope your winter is filled with bright sunshine and warm days.Happy Winter!
