As the days warm during spring and flowers begin to blossom, you can't help but to notice new parents out strolling with their babies. Even in these busy times, when you have only a few minutes to spare, you can create a card or an announcement to celebrate the birth of a baby.
The first card pictured is very easy to complete. Doodlebug Design Inc. has produced a wide selection of coordinated cardstock stickers and plastic buttons for your use. By selecting stickers from "Baby Boy," adhering them in a creative manner to a pre-folded card you can create a card in just a few minutes.
One stamped image from Anita's and a computer printed tag is used in making the next card. This old fashioned baby buggy, stamped in pink welcomes a new baby girl. The carriage is colored with Decorating Chalks and a ribbon is woven through the image to add a decorative touch. The chalks are terrific to use because of how easy they are to apply and they are mess free so no clean up time is needed.
The following cards use vintage images printed from a computer disk created by The Vintage Workshop. The convenience of having images readily available that can be printed from your home computed is just one of the many advantages when you need a quick card or want to produce a striking birth announcement for the new baby in the family.
All images used are from the CD "Little Ones." The first card, "Welcome Little One," uses a printed image with the addition of computer generated text. The printed image is framed with decorative paper from the 7gypsies Anglo Collection.
The final card is the quick and easy birth announcement. The image of the baby is printed on vellum and layered onto the printed vintage announcement.
Next time you are short on time to create a card, try using stickers, a single stamped image, or an image printed on your home computed.
