This article contains projects for stampers of all levels.

November begins the rush that is the holiday season. This time of year can be extremely stressful, hectic and exhausting. There are errands to run, presents to buy, meals to be planned and don’t forget to get your cards out on time. With so many things going on, it is hard to find any spare time, let alone extra time for rubber stamping and paper crafting projects. With this in mind we decided to give you some quick, easy, non-threatening, non-time consuming, relaxing and stress free projects to get you though the month of November.

Each year at Thanksgiving time each of us pauses to reflect on the blessings that surround us. Sometimes it seems hard to find things to be thankful for and even our blessings can seem more like curses at times. Most paper crafters and rubber stampers express their gratitude and thankfulness through their art work. A simple card to a friend or family member that won’t be physically here for the holidays is a great project to let these important people know you are thinking of them and count them as a blessing in your life. This simple and quick “Thanksgiving Wishes” card created from the Vintage Workshop line of Click-n-Craft™ CD Collection is a great way to express your thoughts at this special time of the year.

The images available on the Heirloom Collection I CD have several images that can be used throughout the year. This “Patriotic Thank You” project uses a simple flag image to express how thankful we are to the many service men and women who have either served or are serving our country. November celebrates Veteran’s Day and it is a great opportunity to express your thoughts and feelings to a member of our military. If you don’t have a special service person in your life or family, check with local churches and support organizations to find out how you can send a card to someone in need of support or encouragement. You can also check out websites like http://www.operationmilitarysupport.com/ for information on where to send your cards.

In addition to ushering in the Holiday and Winter season, November brings with it the end of the Fall and the Harvest season. The glorious colors of the leaves turning and pumpkins hitting their prime will soon give way to the darker and cooler mode of winter. Celebrate the end of Autumn with some color. This “Leaves of Thanks” project combines the majestic colors of the season and your message of thanks.

In this “Pumpkin Patch Gratitude” card you can convey your feelings and celebrate the abundance of your blessings by combining a lovely colored image with a simple statement. Twinkling H20s were used to color in the image, which added some shimmer and shine to the piece and because they dry quickly did not consume a lot of waiting time to complete the project.

Hopefully you will find some time for yourself during this busy holiday season. Our Quick and Easy projects are geared to provide you with a resource and referral point to show that you can still hand make a special card or piece of artwork when you are short on time. We are thankful for your continued readership and support of RubberStampingIdeas.com Magazine and we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
