Kat Zimmerman of Lucky Squirrel was kind enough to share a great shrink plastic technique during Memory Trends that is a great embellishment for cards and other paper crafting projects.

Step 1: Choose the Shrink Plastic color that best complements the project and sand off the shiny finish.

Step 2: Using a large Square Punch, align the punch flush against the edge of the sheet and punch one square.

Step 3: Align the punch against the opposite edge and punch another square.

Step 4: Punch a third square out of the middle, centering between the other two squares previously punched.

Step 5: Cut these punched frames off the sheet, so that the top and bottom borders are even. This will give you three frames that are connected.

Step 6: Cut one of the frames out so that the borders around the frame are equal.

Step 7: Apply Glimmer Chalks to outside of frame to add color, dimension and design.

Step 8: Shrink Plastic Frame using heat tool. You may need to flatten out the frame when the shrinking is completed; a wooden block works wonderfully for this.

Step 9: Allow frame to cool before adding to your paper crafting project.

The multitude of uses for these frames is amazing and the versatility of shrink plastic allows many options. Lucky Squirrel comes in many different colors and packages, which means the possibilities are endless.
