Store or give treats in this Halloween Goodie Box designed by Chris Herrmann. All you will need is a black cardboard box and an assortment of stickers. Arrange the stickers where wanted around the box and fill with orange tissue paper and special Halloween treats. Candy, cookies and popcorn balls will fit perfectly!
Give a Halloween hello from door to door with this Halloween Door Hanger also created by Chris Herrmann. You’ll need:
• Orange Fun Foam Door Hanger
• Permanent Black Marker
• Assorted Stickers
Use a pre-made door hanger to save time or cut one out yourself from a foam sheet. Place stickers where desired on the hanger and outline them with the marker. These are cute gifts to give teachers, neighbors, or as a party gift.
As you head out to Halloween parties and trick or treating, take along these treat bags or use them as gift bags. No one around will have anything like it thanks to designer Chia Wald. Gather these supplies to start:
• Paper bag (lunch size)
• Scrapbook paper
-Orange bag: Orange Web paper (Karen Foster Design)
-Black bag: Pumpkins & Oak paper (Zim’s Paperspectives)
-Striped bag: Candy Corn Stripes paper (Zim’s Paperspectives) and Halloween theme (Petals & Possibilities)
• Stickers
-Orange bag: Haunted House stickers (Karen Foster Design)
-Black bag & Striped bag: Trick or Treat stickers (Karen Foster Design)
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Glue (Art Institute Designer’s Dries Clear)
• Two 10” pieces of jute twine
Cut two 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” pieces of heavy scrapbook paper (or light weight paper glued to cardstock).
Glue jute twine to back of scrapbook paper to form handles. For an alternate handle style, cut your heavy scrapbook pieces 5 ¼” x 8” and cut an oval or rectangle near the top edge to form a handle.
Decorate front of scrapbook paper with stickers.
Measure 5” from the bottom of the paper bag and cut off the top.
Glue smooth side of folded bag to the back of a scrapbook paper square.
Open the bag and glue the remaining scrapbook paper square to the other side of the bag.
Any of these projects can be tailored for all seasons or occasions, just exchange patterned paper, stickers and colors.
